Make Green Grass Pattern in Photoshop (Quick Guide)

Note: Screenshots are taken from Adobe Photoshop CC 2021 Mac version. Windows or other versions might look slightly different. 

Step 1: Open your image in Photoshop.

Step 2: Go to the overhead menu Edit > Define Pattern.

Step 3: Name it and click OK. 

You’ve created a green grass pattern! 

Want to see if it works? Open a new document window, go to Edit > Fill. 

Select Pattern as Contents and in the Custom Pattern option choose the pattern you just created (defined). 

There you go!
